How to Set Up Swift Snip

Swift Snip uses your public channel information and an optional Discord webhook you control. We never ask for passwords. Browsing clips and bot commands do not require login.
Step 1 — Set Up Your YouTube Channel
Already added your channel? Skip to the bot section below if your token is already generated.
1a — Add your YouTube channel
- Open channel setup and select YouTube.
- Paste your YouTube channel URL.
- Select your channel and click Continue Setup.
- Optionally add a Discord webhook, then generate your security token.
- Copy the Nightbot command — it is only shown once after generation.
1b — Discord webhook (optional): During setup you can paste a Discord webhook URL for clip alerts.
1c — Add the command to Nightbot: Add the copied command as a custom !clip command in Nightbot.

Do this before channel setup if you want clip notifications in Discord.
- Open your Discord server
- Right-click a channel → Edit Channel
- Go to Integrations
- Click Create Webhook
- Copy the Webhook URL

Already added it during setup? You're all set — skip this step.
To add or change a webhook after setup:
- Open a support ticket in our Discord server
- Send your Discord Webhook URL
- Include your channel name and platform
